OPIC was the main digital transformation programme for SMEs in Bulgaria for 2014–2020. Hundreds of companies funded ERP, CRM, and DMS systems through it.
Operational Programme Innovation and Competitiveness (OPIC) 2014–2020 provided over €1.2 billion to support Bulgarian SMEs. The Digitalization measure allowed companies to fund business system implementations including ERP, CRM, DMS, and BI with grants covering 50%–70% of eligible costs.

- CRM systems for client and sales management
- DMS systems for document management
- BI platforms for business analytics and reporting
- Implementation, configuration, and training costs
- Hardware required for system operation
Micro, small, and medium enterprises registered in Bulgaria with proven operational history and compliance with EU SME eligibility criteria.
Grant funding ranged from 50%–70% of eligible costs depending on the SME category and region of operation.
